Grief and loss are two of life's greatest stressors. The loss of a spouse, child, parent, or other loved one can bring intense emotional pain. For many, the pain that comes with loss gets easier over time. For some it does not, and when this pain lasts for months or years, it is called Complicated Grief, or Prolonged Grief. It can lead to significant problems in day-to-day life and long-lasting emotional pain. Although support from others can be helpful there comes a point when listening is not enough.

I provide Complicated Grief Treatment, one of the only well studied treatments for helping people cope with this type of loss. If you have experienced loss, and feel you may benefit from therapy, please contact me.
